
Wawawiwa x Hydrogen
Written by our very own CEO, Paul Goodenough, and Andres, this comic subtly introduces the multiple opportunities of green hydrogen, from our homes, to our transport to the places we work.
The comic received 35k likes and sparked (somewhat heated) debate on the benefits and issues surrounding hydrogen as a potential replacement for fossil fuel.

Worth talking about
A collaboration between our own Will Scantlebury and Safely Endangered, this comic did incredibly well online. We learned our lessons from the original Wawawiwa comic, and ensured that we spent more time on community management with the release of this comic, and thus enabled a less heated debate on the issue 🙂
Managing Communities
A key part of making this campaign a success was ensuring that we spent considerable time engaging with people directly. With potentially inflammatory subjects like hydrogen, we needed to be aware that different people had different levels of awareness of some of the new technologies surrounded green hydrogen and nuclear technologies – and of course, pre-existing opinions.
Our role was to get people talking, but fairly and with kindness. We took a great deal of pride in learning our lessons from the first comic, and applying them to the second. By doing this, we directly witnessed barriers and prejudices coming down, and people arriving at new information with open minds and hearts.
Something that sadly happens all too rarely online.
