Helping signatories thrive

We created a campaign toolkit for the 120 Sports for Nature signatories to enable them to celebrate the work they have done for nature. This toolkit included a premade template for social posts, suggestions for copy, and tips on the best way to post on social media.

We gave them a step-by-step guide on how to use the template, including a video walkthrough. This content was crucial to maintaining a consistent design language across all the signatories’ posts.

It’s In Our Nature

We created the phrase “It’s in our Nature” as our campaign cornerstone, which was then personalised by each signatory for their own post. The wording was designed to create a link between nature and sports, and play on the popular idiom “it’s in their nature”. We helped signatories by creating a list of suggested keywords for each signatory.

This keyword master-doc provided the signatories with an opportunity to express their approach to nature. We had terms such as “Accelerating” for a motorsport championship, “Bold” for a revolutionary football team and “Balance” for World Rowing- each as a unifying theme across the campaign.

Creating Impact

46% of the entire U.N. Sports for Nature ecosystem actively engaged, sharing 53 posts across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Together, we reached over 1.1 million people worldwide and helped grow Sports for Nature’s own social platform by 172%.

We had excellent feedback from all the signatories with many highlighting how useful the toolkit we created was for them, as it minimised the amount of time they had to take out of their busy schedules to create unique and inspiring posts.
